I woke up to a strong presence and shape at the foot of my bed, (a shape at the foot of my bed) but not seeing it. I would return to lie on my ear, trying to shush myself but i could still feel the presence. I opened my eyes from a sudden inner fright, and I saw it flashed from side-eye. It was barely there. And there was a brutish and heavy dead weight, compressing my chest, holding my head.

It was six of us working in the Lab that day and after some confusion and discussion between the incredulous ones and the slowly crossing over-ones, we had reached a point we were all basically able to “see” the spirit X, so could agree it had an appearance.
